Les envio esta nota lirica que data de la Edad Media, la encontré y la divulgo
compartiendo con ustedes...

Se trata de un soneto del poeta italiano Guittone d'Arezzo qien vivió en los años 1230-1294,
y muy contemporáneo de Dante Alighieri y antes del poeta Giovanni Boccaccio )1313-1375)
El soneto fue traducido del italiano al inglés por Michael Spiller y luego al catellano.

Whenever I say "joy", you think of joy,
you will understand that I speak of you,
for you are a joy of joyful beauty
a joy of joyful and fair pleasure;

And a joy in which a joyful future is,
joy from your beauties,
joy from your slim body, joy in which so much loving
joy is seen that it is joyful joy to wonder at it

Joy of will and joy of thought,
and a joy of speech and joy of making joy,
a joy of every movement full of joy

So I, my joyful joy,
am so unsettled by you that I never feel you
unless my heart is quieted in your joy.

Al verte digo, "dicha", tu eres la dama alegría
tu entenderás que hablo de ti,
pues eres la gracia del gozo hermoso
y el deleite feliz del placer satisfecho;

Y el gozo significa el futuro del disfrute,
de todos los encantos que posees,,
tu cuerpo esbelto deleitoso, irradia de gozo amoroso
el gozo es visible, sin sorpresa al placer dichoso

El gozo del ánimo y el gozo de lo meditado,
y un gozo del habla, y el gozo de creación gozosa,
un gozo en cada agilidad plena feliz y gustosa

Asi que, mi deleite es pleno de gozo
y si estoy indeciso de ti, nunca te siento,
al menos mi corazón esta en paz por tu gozo./=/
