EL PATIO GRANDE DE MI CASA

Su forma era cuadrangular y limpio
espacio de tierra, algunos pedruscos
Temprano habia bulla, eran los silbos
del 'tordo' en su jaula, el pájaro negrito

En el centro existía un rústico altillo
de cuatro maderos llamada 'tasajera',
para secar maíz, trigo, tambien papas
y asi evitar sean fácil para las gallinas

Entre el patio y el corral de los caballos
había una pared con techo y su puerta
Debajo del techo muchas rumas de leñas
para cocinar en invierno y cuando llovia

Al costado de la cocina habia un 'batán'
o piedra plana, servía para moler granos
Por pared de la casa una banca de madera
y más arriba un paisaje pintado por Isaías./=/

THE LARGE PATIO OF MY HOME

The patio was a clean rectangle place
earthly plane with a few of small stones
Early morning full of noise by the whistles
from the black bird caged and called 'tordo'

In the center a hillock named 'tasajera'
made of four erectred logs, two yards tall
for drying corn, wheat and kind of potatoes
to keep high from the hens and chickens

Between the patio and the horses' corral
it was a roofed large wall with a small door
under the roof many high rows of fire wood
to be used in the kitchen in winter days

Near the kitchen door a flat piece of stone
called 'batan' for grinding wheat and corn
By the wall of house a large wood bench
and above it a landscape painted by Isaias/=/
