Arachnids
Ancient arachnids
brothers of the seeds
of the fruit trees
They swing so fast
by the lines of silk
or the cloud's lints

Arácnidos diluvianos
hermanos de las semillas
de los árboles frutales
Se columpian ágiles
por hilas de sedas
o de nubes sus briznas

My young horse
My father Jose
gave me as a gift
a young black horse
I liked to ride around
and go to look at
the pretty town girls
by the plaza's gardens
and up to the hills

Mi potrillo
Papé José me regaló
un negro potrillo
Sobre él galopaba
y luego rondaba
a lindas jovencitas
por la plaza del pueblo
y por los jardines
hasta subir arriba
las lomas lilas/=/
